WIN SCREEN ROLLER SHUTTER SYSTEM
External roller shutters WIN SCREEN ZIP are advanced window coverings most commonly installed on the exterior of buildings. These shutters are distinguished by the use of specialized fabric instead of a traditional shutter curtain. The shutter fabric is durable, weather-resistant, and excellently serves both protective and decorative functions.
FUNCTIONALITY
WIN SCREEN-type shutters provide effective protection against solar radiation while allowing control over the amount of light entering the room. By using fabrics with varying openness levels, e.g., 1%, 4%, 5%, or 14%, visibility to the outside is maintained, enabling contact with the surroundings while simultaneously limiting visibility into the interior of the building. Fabrics from the blackout series ensure full privacy and 100% interior darkening, and the use of windows with CRISTAL foil works perfectly in rooms with a high demand for daylight.
The WIN SCREEN shutter system also improves energy efficiency by reducing room heating in summer and limiting heat loss in winter. WIN SCREEN shutters protect against wind, rain, and other weather conditions, as well as enhance acoustic comfort by dampening external noise. Our innovative fabric welding system and improved ZIP lock ensure that our shutters withstand even the strongest winds, while optional weather automation guarantees the safety of the entire system.
CONSTRUCTION AND OPERATION
A key element of the WIN SCREEN shutter is the technical fabric made of polyester or fiberglass threads coated with a PVC layer. The fabric is guided within side rails, ensuring stability even in strong winds. In ZIP type systems, a special zipper is additionally used in the fabric to prevent the material from coming out of the guides. The fabric winding mechanism operates by rolling it onto a winding tube located inside the cassette. WIN SCREEN shutters are rolled up using an electric motor, enabling remote control or integration with a smart home system.
APPLICATION
WIN SCREEN shutters work perfectly in both residential and commercial buildings. Thanks to their modern design and a wide range of fabric colors, they are an aesthetic and functional solution. They can be installed on façades, within window recesses, or as free-hanging units, adapting to the user’s needs.

The holes are prepared in several locations on the aluminum-cast side of the shutter, allowing flexible choice of the drive cable exit point, adapting the installation to individual mounting conditions.

UNIVERSAL DRIVE MOUNTINGS
The drive mounting, thanks to its thoughtful design, allows for quick and hassle-free installation and removal of the drive, regardless of the specifics of the installation.
The mounting system features a solid and stable drive seating, ensuring reliable operation of the shutter. Additionally, the mounting enables axial rotation of the drive in 60-degree increments, which is important for flexible positioning of the drive cable as well as convenient access to the mechanical end positions of the drive.

4 DIAMETERS OF ROLLER TUBES WITH COVER PROFILE
The system uses four diameters of winding tubes:
Ø 63 mm, Ø 78 mm, Ø 85 mm – steel winding tubes that provide high strength and resistance to deformation, ideal for standard and medium-sized shutters.
Ø 100 mm – aluminum system tube made from 6063 T6 alloy, designed for large-sized shutters.
Each tube works with special fabric profiles that allow mounting or replacement without the need to remove the winding tube from the shutter. This makes servicing and adapting the shutter to new usage conditions quick and convenient, without interfering with the entire shutter structure.

STEEL SET DIVISIONS
Steel set dividers are durable and precisely designed components used in double guide rails with spacers. Their primary function is to securely mount and separate two independent blinds within a single system, for example, in recessed divisions for HS windows with a central mullion.
Made from high-strength steel, these dividers provide solid mounting points for both blind motors and winding tube fittings. Thanks to this solution, the entire system maintains stability, operational precision, and durability—even for large-sized shading elements.
This reliable solution enhances the functionality of ZIP systems, ensuring secure installation and long-lasting structural integrity.

MOUNTING BRACKET

WEATHER AUTOMATION SYSTEM
Sun and wind-sun sensors play a key role in the automation and protection of WIN SCREEN ZIP external blinds and pergolas. Their primary function is to monitor weather conditions and automatically control the coverings to protect the building and its furnishings, enhance user comfort, and improve energy efficiency.
The sensors can be mounted in various locations, such as the façade, building roof, or directly on pergolas or other patio coverings, depending on the needs and spatial layout.
A sun sensor automatically lowers the blinds when sunlight is intense and raises them when sunlight levels are low.
The wind-sun sensor operates in a similar way but also reacts to wind gusts. In the event of strong wind, it automatically raises the blinds to protect them from damage. This solution significantly extends the lifespan of the motor and fabric.
For safety reasons, the wind sensor always takes priority over the sun sensor. This means that during strong winds, the blind will be raised regardless of sunlight levels.
Wireless sensors do not require wiring between the sensor and the blind, as communication occurs via radio signal. This makes installation much easier and allows for greater flexibility.
In the case of solar-powered sensors, there is no need to connect them to a permanent power source. They are equipped with a solar panel that continuously charges the battery. As a result, the sensor operates energy-independently and is virtually maintenance-free.
PROTECTION AGAINST SUN AND WIND
Sun-wind and sun sensors play a crucial role in the automation and protection of external blinds (as well as awnings and pergolas). Their task is to monitor weather conditions and automatically control the blinds to protect the building and equipment, enhance user comfort, and improve energy efficiency.
The sun sensor automatically lowers the blinds during strong sunlight or raises them when sunlight is low.
The sun-wind sensor, like the sun sensor, automatically lowers or raises the blinds depending on sunlight levels, and additionally protects the blinds from strong wind gusts. When strong wind is detected, it raises the blinds to protect them from damage. This solution significantly extends the lifespan of both the motor and the fabric.
For safety reasons, the wind sensor always takes priority over the sun sensor.
Sensors can be mounted on the façade or the roof of the building.
